Mt Gravatt is back
But for how long, nobody is quite sure. Depending on council and a possibility of new grounds. Keep our fingers crossed for them.
Wow Mt Gravatt just looked superb. The grounds were immaculate, the event was run very professionaly and once again hats off to the Mt Gravatt organisers.
As usual when us riders have not been around the course for a period of time our minds are not up to speed with all the compulsory flags and are not entirely familliar with where all the different grades go. In saying this there were quite a few unfortunate eliminations for missing flags, jumping wrong fences and missing fences.
The course is great for building up the confidence in the younger horses at the lower level, it has a very good water for all the grades from Pre-Intro to 1 Star level.
The course has enough Questions in the Pre-Novice Starting at the double of skinny's at fence 6, after that it gives you the inviting softer fence's then to the ditch and brush on the top of the hill followed straght away by the water.
The really good thing about this event is the cheap entry fees for the unofficial class pre-intro to Preliminary.
