Monty Who Sold to Australia

Busy week before heading down to Taupo Training Trial for the first event for the season.

Monty Who the talented Intermediate gelding of Rebecka Williams heads out to Aussie this week for his new owner Donna Peulic of Sydney. Monty has a super jump and exceptionally cute on the flat. We all had a ride and fell in love with him.  Im sure he will be an asset in his new Sydney stable. Kerry French will take the ride then hand him over to Donnas son Mitchell later down the track.

Also sold last week were our two young thoroughbreds Chucky and Scotty who went locally. 

In some very sad news we had the news of Donnas fantastic horse 3* horse Stanage who passed away. Stanage won Taupo 3 day event back to back in 2008 and 2009, he also won the 2* there before Donna moved to USA early in 2000. Satange who was owned by Tash Slavich and Diana and Graham Smith was an amazing horse and taught Donna amazing things. Our hearts go out to Laura Pederson who rode Stanage for the last 2 years since being retired from upper level competitions.

We have 2 new members of the team Tessa Anderson who has joined the team as a working student and Scout Kann Smith who is a party mix of Maltese/chuihaha/jack Russel. Both members joined us at Taupo on the weekend.

Taupo was a great schooling event for the young horses and were all better behaved than we thought they would be. In the training trial we had Darcy(Knightly Venture) owned by Tarraleah Perfromance horses, Athens and Flint owned by Steve and Vicki Jacks, Waitangi My Space owned by John and Jos Bailey and Balmoral Oakey and Balmoral Townsville. Oakey and Townsville are fairly new broken in and tried there little hearts out. All horses performed well and are on track for the season ahead. 

Our next event is Woodhill sands in 2 weeks.
