Back into the swing of things in the U.S again. Coming from the heat of Summer at home in Australia to getting off the plane in Washington D.C was not what i call fun!!!! Anyway "the boss" Sharon took me straight to have Sushi.....i think, she thought i might stop complaining!!! haha.
I spent the first week back in West Virginia, then pretty much got shipped off far away to stop me complaining about the snow< freezing rain< i did have to pick up Johnny from Silva Martin down in West palm, Silva was doing dressage on him while i was back home in Australia. Wow what a difference it has made, he feels amazing. Silva did win a test at one of the dressage days on a 70%, plus other places as well.
On other news, my 5 yr old has just arrived from Australia. He is by Octaganol 17h, im looking forward to getting started with him. He has done one event back home with a good friend of mine Chris Burton, who had him for a couple of months when i first came over to the states.
I also flew to New Zealand while i was home to have a look at horses over there, it was a great trip. I think i would of looked at over40 horses for sure. I ended up buying one off Christine Weal and Donna Smith who have F.I.S(future international sport horses) Felix will stay over in NZ for a while and compete with Donna until he ships over.
Our first competition is this weekend at Paradise farm in South Carolina, Johnny will start in the preliminary and the week after will have an Intermediate start at pinetop.
Keep you posted.
