Breaking In service

We are now about half way through winter!!

Our new member of our team started this week, Patrick Everingham.

Patrick is an Aussie and has been based over in New Zealand for the past 2 years. Patrick recently won Taupo 3 Day event in May. With Patrick now here with us in Te Kauwhata we are now opening our services for Breaking in young sport horses and racehorses, which in the past we have had to knock quite a few people away due to lack of time etc. He is currently breaking 5 of our new young stock in, these include  a 3 year old Ramazotti mare(Zeva), 3 year old Landioso gelding(Limerick), 2 Hula Town geldings(Derek and Dennis) and our gisborne bred pony(Luke).He is doing an amazing job and has a great feel for it. Patrick started his breaking in career at Washpool pool lodge in Queensland quite a few years ago.We will update the sevices page for breaking in soon.

This week we are off to Christchurch to look at some ponys, followed by a quick trip to Aussie on Friday for Sydney horse trials.
