The breakers are coming along very well with 4 of them under saddle and already working nicely trotting and cantering with a small pop over the poles in the arena. The Gisborne untouchable prooving to be quite the rank little pony in deed!!! I think between the 3 of us we have never come across one this difficult to say the least........i have worked out though when on saturday i was saying we needed some action, that it happened as easy as that. We decided to take the little gisborne bred out to the hills to canter around with Nash the palomino. What we did discover is that at 5 years old an amazing lead horse that has all of us in awe of him.
On Saturday we had baby day out on the x country and showjumping with Nick Brooks joining us for the after noon and showing off a couple of his new super star team. Our babys were great fun on the x country having no idea and im sure having a ball them selves.
We were bombarded with our competition horses that arrived back this week to go back into work, with the arrival of our new Henton bred gelding "Carlos" who is owned by Donna and myself with Diana Smith and Susan Clarke. Carlos is By Contendro 1 out of Distancia. Donna broke him in earlier this year and we took a liking to his personality and movement. We are looking forward to bringing him along as one of our competition horses.
We look forward to the arrival of Darcy from "Tarraleah performance horses" in Australia ariving off the Irt plane very early tomorrow morning.
