Day 7 in lockdown and 99% of horses infected.
8 out of our 9 have had some signs of the flu, at this stage only 3 have started antibiotics. All the horses still are eating and are coping very well.
The DPI are starting to really crack down on the people coming and going from Morgan park. It turned into a bit of a Big Brother episode Yesterday with an eviction process, trying to minimise the amount of people on the grounds.
The deal was 5 horses to every 1 person and the DPI would pay a small fee per horse for this to happen. I elected to divvy my horses out (with owners permision) to 3 trustworthy riders. The plan for me is to work on surviving outside the compound, as 99% of my paid schooling horses are in lockdown for another 2 months or so.
As of Today spirits were still high and horses/people were wanting for nothing.
