TANIWHA FARM

Simone joined forces with Donna Smith,  in 2010.  It is a comprehensive combined training facility operated by International Event rider's Donna Smith and Simone Kann.  Located between Auckland and Hamilton in the North Island, the farm is twenty minutes from state highway 1, just outside of Te Kauwhata, and just one hour from Auckland.

Together they train and compete an endless ongoing selection of horses from "home bred's" to "Thoroughbred's" and "Warmblood's" of all levels in Eventing and showjumping.

The farm boast's the facitilitie's of a full cross country course professionally built by Donna's Father "Graham Smith" and local Identity "John Evan's". The course is a tough Novice and is in the process of having an Intermediate course being built as we speak.

We have a 40x60 all weather arena and plenty of space to hack out our horses on the 600 hectare farm which consists of natural creek crossings and hills.

The Smith Property holds the Waerenga horse trials twice a year which caters for pre Training through to Novice.
